NEXT GREEN NIGHT: Wednesday March 6th



Every 2nd Wednesday, The Western Mass Green Consortium brings people together in a warm, social setting with educational presentations and professional networking in the Northampton Brewery’s sunroom.


At 4:00 PM  We start with “Inspirational News,” “Technology Minute,” “Member Presentations,” networking and friendly conversations on issues of sustainability in our community.


At 6:00 PM  We follow with Green Drinks.  This offers more more networking opportunities, local brew, and good company in the Northampton Brewery’s inviting bar/lounge area.


Green Nights are generously hosted by the Northampton Brewery. These events are a collaborative effort of the Western Mass Green Consortium, the North East Sustainable Energy Association, and Green Drinks Northampton.

January 8th 2012

A big crowd showed up to hear January’s Green Night presenter Amy Donovan the Massachusetts recycling person of the year.

Her presentation focused on Recycling Programs that work.

*CC programs in schools, transfer stations, businesses

*Waste Diversion: Fairs, Festivals, Races

*Hazardous Waste and EE

Alex Risley Schroeder, Finding Earth Works.
Ms. Schoeder gave an uplifting presentation titled Green Career Strategies–Taking Action.


She spent valuable time talking about getting to know yourself.

How to do the right kind of industry research,writing your resume & cover letters. He also talked about the importance of the interview process, writing thank you’s and staying connected.
