What is a Charrette?
A Charrette is an intensive planning session where citizens, designers and others collaborate on a vision for development. It provides a forum for ideas and offers the unique advantage of giving immediate feedback to the designers. More importantly, …it allows everyone who participates to be a mutual author of the plan.
This will be the Western Mass Green Consortium’s fourth Annual Charrette and the energy is building! Our work is making a difference! Western Massachusetts is now leading the nation for energy efficiency and its because we have come together as a community to make change!
The Charrette will cover:
* Stretch Energy Codes * Home Energy Rating Systems * Green Finance * Testimonial development of green projects in Western Mass.
We can build a strong local economy by rebuilding our homes and buildings to be more energy efficient. Lets join efforts, have some fun and plan to execute actions that will support the development of a more sustainable community for our region!
