Sean Jeffords (Executive Director) sean@projectretrofit.org. A licensed construction supervisor who has been building and renovating residential and commercial buildings with advanced framing and insulation techniques since 1987. His company, Beyond Green Construction is an acclaimed regional leader in high performance home building and retrofits. Mr. Jeffords used his considerable skills as a community organizer to co-found the Western Mass Green Consortium, a resource association for individuals, businesses, organizations and educators committed to environmentally and socially responsible business practices. Mr. Jeffords work has been featured nationwide on the Discovery Channel’s series Renovation Nation with Steve Thomas of This Old House.

- A founding Member of Western Mass Green Consortium. He is an active contributor, participant and supporter of community-wide educational programs across the Northeast region. He has extensive experience in all phases of course development: Analysis, Design, Development and Evaluation. His project work includes technical training workshops, management development programs and organizational development work.


Richard has Delivered workshops to community college faculty on applying Systems Thinking to Green Industry programs. Developed train-the- trainer materials in support of regional Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency programs. Developed a Best Practice Guide for Green Industry training.


- Richard has an MA in Adult Learning from University of Minnesota and has a BS and BA. He holds teaching certificates in Organizational Change Management and Systems Thinking. He has completed courses at Greenfield Community College in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program. He recently completed the Collaborative Learning Strategies for Continuing Education Workshop at U. Mass Lowell. He is a member of NESEA and IREC.
